Obituary: Ella Mae McClaskey, 71, Boston
Ella Mae McClaskey, 71, of Boston, died Thursday, July 6, 2017, at University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center in Lexington. She was born Nov. 15, 1945, in Nelson County to the late Auttus and Media Richardson Yates. She was a former employee of Owens-Illinois and Lily Tulip and was a former manager for several local automotive suppliers. Ella was a homemaker who loved gardening, being a mother and grandmother and was a member of Elizabethtown Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart McClaskey; and one brother Earl Yates.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne McClaskey and Daniel McClaskey, both of Boston, one sister, Mary Elizabeth Chesser of Bloomfield; one brother, Sam (Sue) Yates of Bloomfield; and one granddaughter, Aydan McClaskey.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017, at Elizabethtown Church of Christ with Bro. John Board officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Rd. and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
