Obituary: Bonnie Sue Taylor, 66, Bloomfield

BONNIE SUE TAYLOR

Bonnie Sue Taylor, 66, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born March 25, 1951, in Marion County to the late Adrian and Mary Elsie Hamilton Carrico. She was a former employee of General Electric and American Greetings and was a member of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, William “Sonny” Taylor; one daughter, Marsha Taylor of Bardstown; one sister, Julie (Tommy) Noel of Springfield; two brothers, Donnie (Darlene) Carrico of Springfield and Doug (Ann) Carrico of Bardstown; and two grandchildren, Austin and Hunter Geoghegan.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Kevin McGrath officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.

The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
