Teen with possible snake bite transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital

Friday, July 14, 2017, 12:15 p.m. — An 18 year old male was apparently bitten by a snake Friday morning outside Horizon Academy. At about 10:20 a.m. Friday, Nelson County EMS responded to Horizon Academy, 304 Wildcat Lane, for a reported possible snake bite on the hand. The victim was treated by EMS at the scene and then transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital.
