Obituary: Sadie Marie Polly, 80, Lebanon Junction
Sadie Marie Polly, 80, of Lebanon Junction, died Thursday, July 13, 2017, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Albany Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence William Polly; her parents, Robert William and Vertie Louise Gibson Mason; two sons, Donnie Ray and Michael Polly; a granddaughter, Alisha Marie Polly; five sisters, Lois Smith, Roberta Fuson, Nadine Mason, Trobeta Patrick and Chris Fulton; and one brother, Mitchell Monroe Mason.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Sue DeWitt, Cathy Lyons, Barbara Ann Rausch and Christy Marie Goers; two sons, Eugene Polly and Mitchell Polly; two sisters, Edith Fuson and Josie Inez; five brothers, Raymond, Thurman, Chester, Jimmy Dean and Robert C. Mason; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Bro. Wendell Daniel officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon National Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hosparus of Louisville.
