County fair Thursday schedule includes talent contest, ‘Sticktight’ concert

Thursday, July 20, 2017, 12:05 p.m. — The Nelson County Fair continues this evening at 6 p.m. Admission is $10 per person, and parking is free.

Thursday’s events

6 p.m. Midway opens

6 p.m. 4-H and Open Class exhibits in Samuels Hall

6 p.m. Coca-Cola Talent Contest (Ky. State Fair preliminary)

7 p.m. Kentucky pony and mule pull

8 -11 p.m. Stick Tight in concert

Sticktight is a country/classic rock band based in Central Kentucky. Concert goers can anticipate a mix of classic rock and country anthems as well as original tunes. The band draws its influence from rockers like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bob Seger, and country legends Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and more.
