Obituary: Willie Bear Burnett, 28, Bardstown

Willie Bear Burnett, 28, of Bardstown, died Thursday, July 20, 2017, at his residence. He was born July 8, 1989 in Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Edward Karr; and two uncles, William Arthur Karr, and Leslie Douglas Karr.

He is survived by his fiancé’ and mother of their son, Brooke Schuster; his son, Kayden Francis Burnett; his mother, Patricia (Ricky) Reid; a very special aunt and uncle, Phyllis Mae (Frank) Livers; two brothers, Raymond Edward (Holly) Burnett of Bardstown, and Travis Lee Keeling of Louisville; maternal grandmother, Mary Alice Karr of Bardstown; one niece, Hermione Bartlett; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation was chosen and a private graveside service will be held at New Salem Baptist Cemetery at a later date.

Barlow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
