Obituary: Rosetta Bingham Dye, 68, Elizabethtown

Rosetta Bingham Dye, 68, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at Bardstown Health & Rehabilitation in Bardstown. She was born March 31, 1949 in Green County to the late Marfin and Ollie Mae Whitlock Bingham. She was a Baptist by faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Elbert Dye; two brothers, Charles Bingham and Bobby Bingham; one sister-in-law, Tinie, and one brother-in-law, Robert Coffee.

She is survived by four children, Pamela Hardin of Elizabethtown, Mary Lou Young of Magnolia, Jetto Dye of New Haven and Janie Wynette Dye of Parker Lake; one sister, Mae Coffee of Richmond; four brothers, Oris Bingham of Greensburg, Mitchel Bingham of Edmonton, Austin Bingham of Glasgow and Harry Bingham of Bargersville, Ind.; one sister-in-law, Catherine of Hodgenville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 North Lincoln Blvd in Hodgenville. Burial is in the Day Family Cemetery in Stanford.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
