Obituary: Sharon Denise (Hutchins) Hayden, 65

Sharon Denise (Hutchins) Hayden, 65, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the Loretto Motherhouse surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 14, 1952, in Manton. She formerly owned and operated “Creative Cuts” in Loretto.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arch and Marie Hutchins; her sister, Linda Bruner; and two brothers, Johnny Hutchins and Junie Hutchins.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Thompson (Margie) of St. Francis, Julie Hatfield (Arch) of Nashville, Crystal Brady (Tony) of Lebanon and Brian Thompson of Loretto; seven sisters, Karan Luckett (Mike), Kathy Pivot (Tony), Vicky Newton (Bill), Deanna Thornton (Tom), Terri Farmer, Carol Payton, Brenda Daugherty (Dale); one brother Doug Hutchins (Lisa); one sister-in-law, Brenda Johnson (Albert) of Lebanon; and 15 grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Vivian Thompson, Landon Thompson, Cody Hatfield, Grace Hatfield, Carly Hatfield, Blake Hanlon, Alex Hanlon, Jasmine Patterson, Bailey Patterson, Brianna Thompson, Madelyn Thompson, Eva Thompson, Cheyenne Berrier and Christian Perkins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 59 New Haven Road, Loretto with Deacon Dennis May presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Darrell Hayden, Justin Farmer, Dion Thompson and her grandsons.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
