Obituary: Charles Wayne Rucker, 66, Lebanon

CHARLES WAYNE RUCKER

Charles Wayne Rucker, 66, of Lebanon, received his wings to heaven Saturday morning, July 29, 2017, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born March 8, 1951, in Marion County. He was a retired employee of Spring View Hospital where he worked in the Emergency Room. He will be remembered as a sweet, kind, loving man who was always laughing and joking, especially with his friends at Cedarwood Restaurant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Algeon Thomas and Helen Mattingly Rucker; one brother, Al “Huck” Rucker; and one niece, Mary Rucker.

Survivors include one sister, Rubalene Harrell Rucker of Bardstown; one aunt, Waniece Peake of Saint Francis; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto with Deacon Donald Coulter officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
