Obituary: Nancy Lucille Weller, 75, Elizabethtown

Nancy Lucille Weller, 75, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Nelson County and a member of Open Valley Baptist Church. She was a Kentucky Colonel and retired from Walmart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucille Dorsey Sims; and one sister, Joann Gartland.

She is survived by one daughter, Tabitha Weller of Ozark, Ala.; two sons, Pat Weller of Cecilia and Joey Weller of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Shirley Dunn of Louisville and Carolyn Janes of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren, Adrianna Fields, Jerry Fields and Ethan Weller; and one great-grandchild, Case Gusler.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at Open Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Doyle officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at the Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and after 10 a.m. Monday at the Open Valley Baptist Church.

The Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
