Obituary: Donald Ray Adcock, 77, Taylorsville

DONALD RAY ADCOCK

Donald Ray Adcock, 77, of Taylorsville, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at Baptist Healthcare in Louisville. He was born Aug. 6, 1940, in Louisville to the late James Harvey and Clara Moppins Adcock. He was a retired transmission repairman and a retired employee of Fisher Packing Co. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Lewis Adcock; two sisters, Bessie Logsdon of Louisville and Ruth (Eddie) Priddy of Upton; one brother, Edward Adcock of Upton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
