ROBERT LEWIS MORGENSTERN
Robert Lewis Morgenstern, 67, of Taylorsville, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born April 23, 1950, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Lewis Frederick and Eva Lorraine Montgomery Morgenstern. He was a retired employee of Koroseal Interior Products, a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Stark.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Shepherd Morgenstern; two daughters, Stacey Denise Morgenstern and Jamie Lynn Morgenstern (Keith) McKinney, both of Louisville; two sisters, Karen Hill of North Port, Fla., and Peg Wagner (Joe Rea) of Lower Salem, Ohio; one brother, Jim (Connie) Morgenstern of Zanesville, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Foster, Katelynn and Matthew.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville with Bro. Chad Goodlett and the Rev. Dale Cieslik officiating. Burial is in the Valley Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the American Cancer Society.
The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
