Obituary: Carolyn Hardin, 61, Bardstown

Carolyn Hardin, 61, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at Signature Healthcare at Colonial Rehab & Wellness Center in Bardstown. She was born Jan. 5, 1956, in Mount Washington.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Shaw and Connie Waldridge; and one brother, Cecil Kinder.

She is survived by her husband, William Hardin; two daughters, Connie Stepp of Jeffersontown, and Jennifer Hardin of New Haven; one son, Steven Hardin of Bardstown; four brothers, Billy Shaw, George Shaw, Kenneth Kinder, and Randy Kinder; four grandchildren, Alycia Hardin, Sabrina Brown, Nathanuel Masterson, and Nickolaus Masterson; and several nieces and nephews.

A prayer service is 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.

Visitation is noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
