Obituary: Barbara Lynn ‘Tami’ Ledford, 59, Bardstown

BARBARA LYNN “TAMI” LEDFORD

Barbara Lynn “Tami” Ledford, 59, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at her residence. She was a retired employee of Johnson Controls. She was a member of the Baptist faith and was an incredible wife, daughter, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ed Smith;, and a granddaughter, Jalyssa Cady.

She is survived by her husband, Spencer Ledford; three daughters, Tyla (Brian) VanderMaas of Grandville, Mich., Gina Brown of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Lisa (Joe) Rangel of Hart, Mich.; three stepchildren, James Ledford and Ryan (Dani) Ledford, both of Lake Charles, La., and Lynn (Jason Pantea) Ledford of Mishawaka, Ind.; her parents, Lee and Barbara Smith of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one sister, Anna (Duane) McDonald of Allegan, Mich.; two brothers, Aaron (DeAnne) Smith of Almont, Mich., and Jason (Diane) Smith of Corapeake, N.C.; and nine grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A memorial service will be held in Michigan at a later date.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
