Obituary: Mary Helen Newton-Walls, 74, New Haven

MARY HELEN NEWTON-WALLS

Mary Helen Newton-Walls, 74, of New Haven, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a former employee of Elizabethtown Sportswear and a member of New Beginning Baptist Church in Bardstown.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Seward (Joe Burks); four sisters, Linda Maggard (James), Brenda Meredith (Junior), Wanda Taylor (Ricky), and Patty Hornback (Jim); three brothers, Billy (Missy) Newton, Johnny (Karen) Newton, and Fred (Lisa) Newton; and three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The memorial visitation is noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at St. Catherine Cemetery.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
