Sandy Christerson Higginbotham, 65, of Ashley Ave., Springfield, died at 2:10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at Signature Colonial Health & Rehab in Bardstown.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Higginbotham; one daughter, Shannon Pokrandt of Pensacola, Fla.; one son, Brad Higginbotham of Hickory, N.C.; her father, Kelly Christerson of Springfield; one brother, Garnett Kelly Christerson of Missoula, Mont.; five grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, and 7-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
