Obituary: Norma Lee Thompson, 74, Cox’s Creek

Norma Lee Thompson, 74, of Cox’s Creek, returned to her Heavenly Father Monday, Aug. 21, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Thompson; her parents, Harry and Lutitia Crigler; one son, Delbert Thompson; and one sister, Sarah Ashbaugh.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Donna K. Downs (Steve) and Janet Thompson; two sons, Mike Thompson (Sharon) and Doug Thompson (Jennifer); one sister, Linda Hobbs (Roger); 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, in the chapel at Hardy- Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. Burial is in the Cundiff Family Cemetery

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at the funeral home.

The Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman St., Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
