Obituary: Zelma Mae ‘Toolie’ Cecil, 93, Bardstown
Zelma Mae “Toolie” Cecil, 93, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born April 18, 1924, in Nelson 
County to the late Edgar and Lillie Weathers Parrott. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bloomfield Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Cecil and one brother, Elmer “Jake” Parrott.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna (Roy) Curtsinger of Bardstown; her brother, John (Juanita) Parrott of Bardstown; and one granddaughter, LaDonna Curtsinger.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017 at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Leland Parks officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Bloomfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
The Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
