Westwind Trail closure begins Monday; water service will be disrupted

Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017 — Westwind Trail will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, Aug. 28, 2017 for approximately two to three weeks.

On Monday, the City of Bardstown Public Works Department will remove the culvert that channels Withrow Creek under Westwind Trail near the intersection of Arrow Trail. The plan is to replace the existing culvert with a larger one.

Westwind Trail residents will have access from either end of the street or via connecting streets. Arrow Drive and most of Westwind Trail cannot be accessed from the Fourth Street end of Westwind Trail.

Water service in the area will also be interrupted Monday beginning about 9 a.m. Water service will be restored later Monday. Residents in the affected areas will be under a Boil Water Advisory.

The affected homes include:

• 101-109 & 127 Westwind Trail
• 201-208 Barber Ave.
• 308 Templin
