Obituary: Hurley Ray Wease Jr., 22, Lebanon

HURLEY RAY WEASE JR.

Hurley Ray Wease Jr., 22, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born Jan. 10, 1995, and was a lifelong resident of Marion County. He was a former employee of KFC/Taco Bell in Lebanon and was in his second week of employment with TG KY. He never met a stranger, had a big heart and loved everyone. He was an avid fisherman and loved the water. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hurley Ray Wease Sr. (March 24, 2017).

Survivors include his stepfather and mother, James and Lisa Hagan Davis of Lebanon; his twin sister, Marie Wease, at home; one brother, Scott Ferrill (Karen) of Lebanon; his grandfather, “Grandpa George” Davis of Lebanon, Tennessee; one niece, Kisarra Ferrill and four nephews, Hunter Ferrill, David Withrow, Thomas Withrow and Tyryone Withrow; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 265 South Spalding Avenue, Lebanon, with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Bill Bowling officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Memorial donations may go toward funeral expenses.

Pallbearers are James Davis, Scott Ferrill, Robbie Moore, Kyle Harrington, Eric Hillard and Anthony Hillard.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
