Obituary: Dr. Beaman N. Dearinger, 87, Bardstown
Dr. Beaman N. Dearinger, 87, of Bardstown, died at 8:36 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at his home. He was a native of Washington County and was born June 6, 1930, to the late Arlie V. and Ophia Drury Dearinger. He was a charter member of the Parkway Baptist Church and a watch care winter member of the Buckhead Ridge Baptist Church in Okeechobee, Fla.
He attended Campbellsville College and was a graduate of Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis. He actively practiced at his chiropractic office in Lebanon and Bardstown for 59-1/2 years. He was an U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Julian Dearinger (Aug. 29, 2001); and two stepsons, Thomas E. Benedict (Feb. 21, 2016) and David A. Benedict, (Aug. 14, 2016).
Survivors include his wife, Lou Benedict Dearinger; one son, Jeff Dearinger of North Carolina; two sisters, Sue Yeager (Willis) of Louisville and Judy Sharp (Bo) of Florida; one brother, Joseph Dearinger of Ocala, Fla.; two grandsons, Richard Zakary Dearinger and Squires Maxwell Dearinger; two stepgrandchildren, Amber Ervin (Jay) and Robby Benedict (Michelle); six stepgreat-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, Parkway Baptist Church with pastor Dr. James Carroll officiating. Burial is in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Springfield.
Serving as pallbearers will be Zak Dearinger, Max Dearinger, Jay Ervin, Dr. Bartley Klindt, Trae Purdom and Ray Yeager.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home, and after 9 a.m. Friday at Parkway Baptist Church.
