Obituary: William Housin ‘Bill’ Hamilton Jr., 62, Bardstown

William Housin “Bill” Hamilton Jr., 62, of Bardstown, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2017. He was born July 28, 1955, in Louisville and was Past Grand Master of the Fairdale Masonic Lodge #942. He was a handyman and known to his family as a jack of all trades.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Housin Hamilton Sr. and Mary Ann Just Hamilton; and one brother, Tony Hamilton.

He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Christy Peek (Jeff), Susan Cooper (Kevin) and Brooke Hamilton (Jake Harris); one son, William Hamilton III; one brother, Timmy Hamilton; five grandchildren, Makayla, Emily, Todd, Lane and Austin; one great-granddaughter, Hadley; his canine companion, Pepper; and a host of other family and friends.

The funeral is 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Mount Washington with cremation to follow.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Bill Hamilton.
