Obituary: Barry Kelly, 63, Bardstown

Barry Kelly, 63, of Bardstown, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1953, in Jefferson County. He was a retired plant manager for Leggette and Platt and with his wife, was owner of Kelly’s Karaoke. He loved to fish and hunt, and an avid UK fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Wilma Kelly.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rhonda Kelly of Bardstown; one daughter, Gaylene Davis of Mount Washington; three sons, Craig Kelly and Kerry Kelly, both of Mount Washington, and Billy Beavers of Bardstown; one sister, Cheri Kitzero; one brother, Donnie Kelly; three grandchildren, Stewart Beavers, Karley Davis, and Wyatt Davis.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery with Pastor Gary Chesser officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
