Obituary: Sue Ann Rogers, 71, Bardstown

SUE ANN ROGERS

Sue Ann Rogers, 71, of Bardstown, died Thursday Sept. 14, 2017, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born Aug. 24, 1946, in Lebanon. She was a retired cafeteria manager for St. Joseph School. She was active with Whiskey City Cruisers, was a member of Witty Friends, Lady Bus Group, and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Rogers; and her father, Clem Spalding.

She is survived by her longtime boyfriend of 20 years, Teddy Collins; two sons, Brett (Monna Kendrick) Rogers and Jeff (Kay) Rogers, both of Bardstown; her mother, Margie Spalding of Bardstown; one sister, Joanie (Rob) Offutt of Bardstown; two brothers, Bill (Donna) Spalding of Versailles and Steve (Tina) Spalding of Bardstown; six grandchildren, Michael (Tanya) Lefaivre, Jared Lefaivre, Caroline Lefaivre, Jake Rogers, Alex Rogers and Jarett Rogers; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, and 9-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown with a prayer service Monday evening.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
