Obituary: Kenny Montgomery, 80, Bardstown

Kenny Montgomery, 80, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at Bluegrass Assisted Living. He was born May 3, 1937, in Nelson County. He was the retired former owner of Montgomery Builders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eleanor Montgomery; and brothers and sisters, Zanie Beasley, R.K. Montgomery, and Glen Montgomery.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Montgomery of Bardstown; two sons, Dale Montgomery of North Carolina and Greg Montgomery of Bardstown; two sisters, Norma Jean Blair of Louisville and Georgiann Briney of Bardstown; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen with a private burial.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
