Homemakers trip to Amish Country looking for additional participants

Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 — The Nelson County Homemakers trip to visit Amish Country in Indiana on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, needs a few more people to make the trip go or it will be canceled.

During the trip you will visit a quilt shop, a bakery, general store, a greenhouse plus others as time allows. Lunch in an Amish home is included in the cost of the trip.

The Amish trip will leave the Kentucky Home Square shopping center at 7 a.m. that day and return around 7 p.m. You do not have to be a homemaker to go on this trip.

The cost is $79 Call the Nelson County office (502) 348-9204 immediately in order to join the trip and make it a go.
