Obituary: Billie C. Freeman, 62, Bardstown
Billie C. Freeman, 62, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1954, in Kaufman, Texas. He retired after 22 years with the Louisville Water Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Souls’ Harbor Assembly of God. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, University of Kentucky and fishing. He had a big heart and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Freeman Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Crowe Freeman; two sons, Tyrece Crowe of Louisville and Maurice Crowe of Springfield; his mother, Willie Rose Freeman of Kemp, Texas; three sisters, Vanessa Collier and Pamela Freeman both of Kemp, Texas, and Yolanda Freeman of Dallas; two brothers, Tracy Freeman of Kemp, Texas, and Gary Freeman of Dallas; and five grandchildren, Dontaye, Dominique, Kamar, Naryah and Delonte.
The funeral is 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Conway officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is noon-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
