GREGORY ALLEN GRANT
Gregory Allen Grant, 57, of Taylorsville, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at his residence. He was born March 9, 1960, in Louisville to Robert A. and Mary Helen Sheridan Grant. He was a mechanic for the Lake Forest Country Club, a former member of the Long Run Baptist Church, a WWII history buff and an avid UK Wildcat fan.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amethyst Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Waters Grant; four daughters, Thesya Johnson of Irvine, Lindsay (Anthony) Baker of Mackville, Dana Grant Jewett of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Patricia ( Adrian) Hernandez of Perryville; his father, Robert Grant of Simpsonville; three sisters, Ramona (Matthew) Darnell of Hollandell Beach, Fla., Lisa (Kurt) Greenlee of Taylorsville, and Pamela (Denny) Scarlett of Pee Wee Valley; one brother, Phillip Grant of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Alexis, James, Anthony, Jewel, Gwen, Anna, Sophia, Grace, Zarah, and Kalina; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville with Bro. Tom Conway officiating. Burial is in the Valley Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
