Obituary: Hagan Timothy Bishop, 50, Bardstown

Hagan Timothy Bishop, 50, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, at his residence. He was born Jan. 5, 1967, in Louisville and for 35 years raced harness horses all over the United States. He was a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Jean Bunch Bishop.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Nalley Bishop of Bardstown; one daughter; one son;
his father, Michael Hagan Bishop; three sisters, Luann Stoner of Evansville, Ind., Susan Potts of Indiana, and Becky Yates of Louisville; one brother, Joey Bishop of Lebanon; and three grandchildren.

The funeral is 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 1:30-5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, is in charge of arrangements.
