Obituary: Patsy Johnson, 68, New Haven

Patsy Johnson, 68, of New Haven, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at her residence. She was born Sept, 9, 1949 in Samuels. She attended the Abbey of Gethsemani, and loved bingo, Elvis, and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Less and Hazel Martin; one grandson, Andrew Wayne Johnson; and one nephew Ricky Martin.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Johnson of New Haven; eight children, Leslie Chapman, Ronny Johnson, Toni Johnson, Anthony Johnson Jr., Scotty Johnson, Janet Johnson, Donna Johnson, and Dana Walden; two sisters, Shirley Martin and Betty Troxell, both Nelson County; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the St. Thomas Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go to the Abbey of Gethsemani.
