Obituary: Mary Lou Clark, 72, New Haven

Mary Lou Clark, 72, of New Haven, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at her residence. She was born July 27, 1945, in Cincinnati to the late Estell Johnson and Mandy “Marie” Vaught Jones. She was a former waitress at Tom Pigs Restaurant and a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death three sisters, Peggy Wilkerson, Molly Williamson and Becky Goodwin; three brothers, Steve Jones, Jackie Jones, and Dalton Jones; one grandson, James Andrew Thomas; and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph David Clark Sr.; one daughter, Kim (Dennis) Thomas of Elizabethtown; two sons, Ralph David (Stacey) Clark Jr. and David (Dorothy) Johnson, both of New Haven; one sister, Loretto Senterfitt of Lee High Acres, Fla.; three brothers, Jessie Jones of Crestview, Fla., Lonnie Jones of Bardstown, and Pat Jones of LaGrange; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Hefner officiating. Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at the funeral home.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, is in charge of arrangements.
