Obituary: David Alan Lee, 65, Lebanon

DAVID ALAN LEE

David Alan Lee, 65, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at Baptist Healthcare in Louisville. He was born Feb. 8, 1952, in Marion County. He was an employee of TG KY in Lebanon and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent “Albert” Lee; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Wise and Tommy Porter; his father and mother-in-law, Earl and Alberta Wise; and one infant nephew, John G. Lee Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Martha Jane Wise Lee; one daughter, Carrie Lee Spalding (Brad) of Campbellsville; one son, Jeremy Lee of Lebanon; his mother, Rosie Lee of Raywick; two sisters, Barbara Nally (Dickie) of Loretto and Carol Gordon (Elbert “Bud”) of Raywick; one brother, Jack Lee (Peggy) of St. Mary’s; three grandchildren, Phoenix, Asher and Scarlett Spalding; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick, with the Rev. David W. Naylor presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Scott Nally, Lee Gordon, Barry Gordon, Joe Pat Gordon, Gary Porter, Greg Wise and Timmy Bland; Honorary pallbearers are Terry Smith, Terry Mann, Larry Wheatley, Charlie Mattingly, Cam Fields, Matthew Wheatley, Paul Hardesty and Chuck Smith.

The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
