Obituary: John Ivo Seward, 71, New Haven

John Ivo Seward, 71, of New Haven, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at his residence in New Haven. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He was retired for several years with Jones Plastics. He was born Aug. 3, 1946, the son of Ivo and Mary Josephine Clark Seward.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Elizabeth Brennan and Reginia Ann “Jeannie” Back; and two brothers, Paul Russell “P.R.” Seward and Joseph Michael “Mike” Seward.

Survivors include two sisters, Annette (LeRoy) Sidebottom Sr. of Nelsonville and Sharon Seward Jaggers of Hodgenville; two brothers, James Patrick “Pat” (Sarah Ann) Seward of New Haven and Charles Edward “Charlie” Seward of Vine Grove; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The memorial service is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, in the chapel of the William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St., New Haven with the family officiating.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at the funeral home.
