Sheriff’s Office: More mail theft reported in Louisville Road/Cox’s Creek area

Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is again reminding mail customers in the Louisville Road/Cox’s Creek area to aware of reported thefts of postal mail in the area.
According to the sheriff’s office, a resident in the 3500 block of Louisville Road reported that their mail had been been tampered with last night in the resident’s mailbox. The sheriff’s office is planning to add extra patrols to the area to deter or catch the suspect or suspects.
Residents are asked to remove their mail from their mailbox as soon as possible. If you see suspicious activity, please report it to Nelson County Dispatch, (502) 348-3211.
