Willisburg woman injured in rollover crash on the BG Friday morning

Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 — A Willisburg woman was injured Friday morning after she lost control of her vehicle and it crashed near the 38 mile marker on the Bluegrass Parkway.

According to a Nelson County Sheriff’s Office press release, at about 8:30 a.m. Skyler McCarty, 18, of Willisburg, lost control of her 2010 Ford Fusion due to the wet road conditions. Her vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its side.

McCarty was able to exit the vehicle. She was treated at the scene by Nelson County EMS and then transported to University of Kentucky Hospital for evaluation and treatment of her injuries.
