Pineiroa plans election campaign kick-off event in bid for Nelson County Sheriff

Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 — The public is invited to the campaign kick-off of Nelson County sheriff candidate, deputy Ramon Pineiroa, from 5:30-11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at 4840 New Haven Road.

Pineiroa was announced last month his plans to seek the office of Nelson County Sheriff. Nelson County Sheriff Ed Mattingly does not plan to seek another term.

The deadline to file to be a candidate for an office that requires a primary is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018.

The 2018 May primary election is Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
