Local residents participate in fundraising event to help Arc of Kentucky

Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 — Local members and supporters of Arc of Kentucky gathered Saturday afternoon, Nov. 4 in Frankfort for an afternoon of fun and fundraising to help the state chapter of this non-profit volunteer organization in its mission to assist families and individuals deal with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Lakeview Park in Frankfort hosted Arc of Kentucky’s “Walk to Bridge the Gap to Success” Saturday afternoon. The event featured a walk-a-thon as well as a silent auction, obstacle course, a slide, various games and an activity center featuring basketball, baseball and football-related events.
