Obituary: Joseph Theodore Price, 77, Bardstown

Joseph Theodore Price, 77, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at his residence. He was born July 19, 1940, in Bardstown to the late Alma Ritchie Price Hutchins.

Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Burchett Price; and two sisters, LaVerne Price and Catherine Shipp.

He is survived by one daughter, Gwynn (Bosco) Gant of Cox’s Creek; one son, Joe Price of Springfield; one brother, Nolan (Brenda) Hutchins of Bardstown; and two grandsons, Lucas Gant and Jared Gant, both of Cox’s Creek.

A non-ceremonial cremation was chosen without any visitation or service.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road, was in charge of arrangements.
