Dec. 2 fundraiser set to benefit Terry Flanders’ battle against cancer

Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 — A fundraiser for Terry Flanders is set for 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the Abraham Lincoln American Legion Post, 202 Downs Lane, Bardstown.

Flanders is fighting colon cancer and has been unable to work since June due to surgery and chemo treatments. He faces additional surgery and treatment and substantial expenses not covered by his health insurance — 100 percent of the money raised will help the family with medical expenses.

The Dec. 2 fundraiser includes dinner from 6-7:30 p.m.; 50/50 raffle; live music by Brian Williamson; a live auction with a cash bar available.
