Obituary: Richard ‘Ricky’ Lee Shelton Jr., 62, Shepherdsville

Richard “Ricky” Lee Shelton Jr., 62, of Shepherdsville, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at Norton Audubon Hospital with his family by his side. He was a current employee of Publishers Printing and a member of Vine Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Kentucky Wildcats.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Shelton Sr.; and twin sisters, Linda and Linnie Shelton.

He is survived by his mother, Frances Shelton of Shepherdsville; his fiancé, Debbie Myers of Boston; two sisters, Rose Moore (Ronnie) and Lisa Brown (Kenny), both of Shepherdsville;
one aunt, Barbara Shelton Webb of Shepherdsville; three nieces Cori Petty, Teri Yates and Amy Moore; and many great nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at the Vine Hill Baptist Church in Clermont with Bro. Greg Crenshaw officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at the funeral home and 9-11 a.m. Monday at the Vine Hill Baptist Church.

The Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is in charge of arrangements.
