Obituary: Joseph Alan ‘Joey’ Simpson II, 31, Bardstown

Joseph Alan “Joey” Simpson II, 31, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017. He was an employee of Ballard Transfer Inc. and a Catholic by faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Jean Cecil.

He is survived by his father, Joseph Alan Simpson; one sister, JoAnna J. Willett; two brothers, Alan Levi Simpson and William Clifton Greer Simpson; and his grandparents, Freddy and Jenny Simpson, and Brenda and Nolan Hutchins.

The Funeral Mass is 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with cremation to follow.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the family in care of the funeral home.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
