Obituary: Roddy Dale Wright, 57, Bloomfield

RODDY DALE WRIGHT

Roddy Dale Wright, 57, of Bloomfield, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, in Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born Sept. 21, 1960, in Louisville to A. G. and Jean Grigsby Wright. He was a field manager for the Fides Group and a member of the Bloomfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Katie Lynn (Jonathan) Mattingly of Bardstown; two sons, Adam Wright of Bloomfield and Rod Parker (Leeann) Wright of Shelbyville; his parents, A.G. and Jean Wright of Bloomfield; one sister, Tina Downs of Bardstown; three brothers, Larry (Cathey) Wright of Louisville, Lonnie Wright of Lexington and Craig (Amanda) Wright of Bloomfield; and two grandchildren, Landon Carter Wright and Ethan Mattingly.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Leland Parks officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
