Obituary: Delores Ann Baker Yocum, 64, Bardstown
Delores Ann Baker Yocum, 64, of Bardstown, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. She was born June 8, 1953, in Bardstown. She was a former employee of American Greetings. She was a member of Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church of Bardstown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Catherine and Wallace Leon Tonge Sr.;
two sisters, Janet Louise Phillips, and Joanna Marie Tonge; and two brothers, Wallace Leon Tonge Jr. and James M. Greathouse.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Chanel Yocum of Elizabethtown, Kelly Ann Marie Yocum and Kristopher “Krissy” Dawn Yocum, both of Bardstown; two sons, Thomas Eugene (Misty Jo) Yocum Jr. of Bardstown and Charles Stillman Yocum of Springfield; her mother-in-law, Lucille Mitchell; three sisters, Naomi Linton, Faye Tonge, and Ella (Tom) Smalley; three brothers, Billy (Clara) Tonge, Michael Tonge, and Robert (Pam) Tonge; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Bardstown with Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at the church.
Memorial contributions may go toward the service.
