Obituary: Mary Lillian Summitt, 96, formerly of Bloomfield

Mary Lillian Summitt, 96, of Louisville, formerly of Bloomfield, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at Hildegard House in Louisville. She was born Oct. 11, 1921, in Bloomfield to the late John W. and Pearl Rose Morris. She was a retired police officer for the Louisville Police Department.

She is survived by two daughters, Mitizi Long-Bishop and Hazel Brown, both of Louisville.

Cremation was chosen by the family. There will be no public services.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
