Obituary: Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Key, 56, formerly of Bardstown
Jacqueline “Jackie” Key, 56, of Louisville, formerly of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at St. Mary’s and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. She was born June 8, 1961, in Bardstown. She was a graduate of Sullivan University and was supervisor in accounts for Texas Roadhouse. She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She had just received an award from Texas Roadhouse as their 2017 Accounting Legendary Leadership. Her family was her greatest reward. Her children, grandchildren brightened her day and cooking gave her great joy. Now Bingo was another love but she loved it so much because she usually won most nights.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Lewis Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Joseph “Danny” Key of Louisville; one daughter, Kara (Dontey) Tooley of Louisville; one son, Tyson (Ashley) Allen of Louisville; her mother, Josephine Hayes Phillips of Bardstown; two sisters, Debra (Howard) Mabin of Cleveland and Jolette Phillips of Louisville; two brothers, Jimmy (Karen) Phillips and Mark (Dee) Phillips, both of Bardstown; and four grandchildren, Caden Allen, Kennedy Allen, Jamari Tooley and Braelynn Tooley.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at St. Monica Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
