Obituary: Larry Curtsinger, 61, Bloomfield

Larry Curtsinger, 61, of Bloomfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born Oct. 18, 1956, in Chaplin to the late Louis and Margie Chesser Curtsinger. He was an auto mechanic for the former Wilson Brothers dealership in Bardstown. He was a member of the New Hope Tabernacle in Taylorsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth Ann, Linda Lou, Brenda Sue and Geraldine Curtsinger; and one great-grandson, Lincoln Ortega.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hardin Curtsinger; five daughters, Stacey McGuffin of Chaplin, Angie (Earl) Chandler of Elizabethtown, Stephanie Milburn of New Haven, Leslie Ortega of Lawrenceburg, and Katie (Jarod) Wallace of Glasgow; one son, Russ Hooper of Bardstown; one sister, Janice (Rick) Coffey of Taylorsville, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2017, at the Open Door Christian Center with Sister Mavis Bennett and Bro. Joe Vires officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Open Door Christian Center, 2345 Taylorsville Road, Bloomfield.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
