Obituary: Mary Elizabeth ‘Libby’ Sea, 83, Shepherdsville
Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Sea, 83, of Shepherdsville, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born April 3, 1933, in Versailles to the late Edgar and Fannie Jane Barnett Scrogham. She was a homemaker, a former employee of General Electric and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Shepherdsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sidney F. Sea; her second husband, Walter Stanfield; one son, Michael Keith Sea; and three brothers, Charles Scrogham, Wayne Scrogham and William Scrogham Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Darlene (Henry) Sattich of Shepherdsville; one son, Sidney (Yvonne) Sea of Louisville; four sisters, Ruby (Bro. Paul) Hagerman and Lois Newton, both of Chaplin, and Ellen (Morgan) Hellard and Helen Coulter, both of Louisville; two brothers, Robert (Irene) Scrogham of Lawrenceburg, and Lee Scrogham of Fairfield; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her beloved pet dog, Buddy.
The funeral was Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Carl Thomas officiating with burial in the Highview Cemetery.
The Houghlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
