Bardstown man arrested for trailer theft at local appliance store

Monday, June 6, 2011, 6:45 p.m — A Bardstown man was arrested today, Monday, June 6, in connection with the theft of a 14-foot utility trailer from Pat’s Appliance and Lawn Care last week.

Thomas R. Yocum, of Bardstown, was arrested today and charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500 and tampering with physical evidence.

The theft of the trailer was reported to Bardstown Police on Friday. Yocum was arrested following an investigation by Det. Lynn Davis. The trailer was not recovered, and police are still investigating. Anyone with information on this theft or any other theft should contact Bardstown Police, 348-6811.
