Obituary: Joseph Cory Burba, 24, New Haven

Joseph Cory Burba, 24, of New Haven, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at his home. He was a lover of the outdoors and sports. He was an employee of Poly-Air and a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Celestine Burba and Thomas A. and Rose E. Bartley.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jennifer Bartley Burba; one sister, Kaitlyn Burba; one brother, Jeremy Burba (Kamani); and his grandfather, Walter Burba.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 and after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven with a 5 p.m. prayer vigil Monday evening.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
