Obituary: Joseph Marshall Heady Jr., 76, Elizabethtown
Joseph Marshall Heady Jr., 76, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018. He was born to Joseph Marshall Heady Sr. and Catherine Hinton Sanders on Nov. 14, 1941. He was retired from the U.S. Army and National Guard. He was a Vietnam Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Tracy Lynn Heady.
He is survived by two daughters, Christine Bailey (Billy) and Lisa Heady, both of Elizabethtown; three sons, Mark Heady of Elizabethtown, Joseph Aparo (Denise) of Connecticut and David Aparo (Andrea) of Las Vegas; one sister, Karen Sanders Kerman of Shepherdsville; three brothers, Tim Heady and Shane Heady, both of Elizabethtown and William Sanders of Shepherdsville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
